Next to digital art I love to take a real brush and get into my acrylic, oil, aquarell and gouache colors. Portraits are a special interest for me because I´m into problem solving and exploring. There is so much form and expression to discover in a face.
Mimic collection:
Here I tried to catch some interesting expressions. I work with a couple of photos from different perspectives as reference. I´m glad that techniques like photography were developed in the past :D. It´s difficult for models to sit for a few hours without moving.

Self portrait:
I painted myself using a mirror. This is quite challenging as you are not able to hold one facial expression for a few hours.
